Default Door Rust

Hey guys. Noob around here. I've got rust on the inside bottom of my doors. I've seen at least one other member with the same issue. Dealer says Chrysler will repair it, but it's a grey issue because the rust warranty cover perforation only. The warranty is for five years, which is up in 6 months. Dealer said even though rust hast perforated yet, it will in the near future. Sivas a goodwill deal they will pay to have the area blasted and resprayed but the dealer and body shop said it most likely will come back. This sucks on a four year old truck. As much as we love the truck were considering having it fixed and selling it over this. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Mine is the same it is a really poor design and I think they just forgot to seal the joint between two pieces of metal. I'm about to sand mine back and use por15 on it in the hope that will fix it.

Ian.
