I have a 2007 Aspen that has a Gas Cap Message in the odometer. I have taken it to my local dealer and they replaced the gas cap. The problem came back. took it back again got rid of the message and now its back as well as the engine light. Are there any known issues or solutions? My local dealer is out of Ideas.

 

What is the code? I would start checking evap lines. or for a flash for the pcm.

 

i have a 2007 chrysler sebring v/6 flex fuel engine that had the same problem as yours.dealer installed a new gas cap and cleared the codes problem went away this has been over a year ago.no problems since. if you have the flex fuel engine make sure they install the yellow gas cap for the e-85 fuel.
