Default Have a issue

July 23, 2009- A heavy rain storm came through and my Aspen was parked in the parking lot at work, when I went go home, I started my truck and my instrument cluster went crazy and was receiving a "no bus" warning and bells were going off. I started to notice when I applied the break the alarms went off and my instrument cluster died and rebooted ( like I just started my car again) The engine continued to run and I was able to drive to a mechanics shop to have it looked at. They told me that water got to my fuse panel and body control module, etc inside the cabin of the SUV. I'm trying to figure if anyone has had this problem. By the way the interior was dry ( all windows and door were shut)

I'm dreading going to the dealership since my SUV is at 49000 mile and i'm out of my warranty, and I didn't get the extended since they wanted $4k for the extended warranty. I fear what the "stealership" is going to charge me for the diagnosis.

Any ideas on what could have issued this??? Well, other than the water on the Body Control Module, and fuse, but no idea how the water got in.
