04 pacifica horn problem

Default 04 pacifica horn problem

when i put the relay back on and press the horn it gets sstuck then i hit the horn button hard and it goes away but then it blows by it self too can it be the clockspring or a problem in the airbag by the way airbag light does not come on please help.

............Horn PAD................

Depending on options..Your horn pad is either bolted in, or on spring clips...

Remove it, and Lube any points where it "RIDES"....That will usually stop it from sticking...If not, the pad and "Switch" assembly must be replaced.....

ALMOST ALWAYS....the pad is available without the airbag, but you will have to reassemble it before putting it back in.

thanks for the reply if i take the air bag apart to check the horn pad will the airbag blow in my face LOL.

................no...........................Disco nnect the battery and be very careful and attentive to how and where you remove the connectors.
