Default 06 key programming

Hi all. I just bought a 2006 Pacifica that had only 1 key. Just bought a second uncut key off of eBay. Instructions only give directions if you have 2 keys. Where do I go from here?
Thanks!

"Where do I go from here?"

Get the key cut at the hardware store. Then take it to the Dealership. Bring some money along.

The car will need to be programmed to the key. Then buy another key on eBay. If you have two you can program the third one yourself.

Keep the third key in a safe place. They do that to prevent some valet parking car jockey from being able to easily copy your key.

You can have someone else cut the key but a chrysler dealer or someone with a DRBIII or starscreen has to flash it to the SKRIM module. That doesn't get done your won't be driving anywhere.

Thanks for the info.
Now, please give me the bad news on the cost of having a Chrysler dealership cut the key and have the car programmed to the key?

Well I purchased a key from them and they cut it and flashed it for me and it was $200. I think most dealers are at like $150 an hour with either of the scan tools so my guess would be $100-$150 range? I would just call your local dealer and ask. Their service should know.
