Default 2004 Chrysler Pacifica aftermarket stereo help

I would like to install an aftermarket stereo a Pioneer to be exact. I was wondering what do I need to install the stereo correctly in my 2004 Chrysler Pacifica all wheel drive.

Crutchfield is a good resource for checking fit compatibility and how to. If you buy from them they send very clear instructions and have good tech support.

Ok so I got it all installed and it all works great. But when I turn it on no sound I have done some research and it looks like since I have the model that has the Infinity sound system I need an adapter. So my question is is there a way I can either unplug or cut and connect a wire to bypass the amp don't really want to spend $130 for a little box to turn on the amp.
