Default 2004 PAC- A/C not working

My A/C may not be working properly. When I put the climate control system into manual mode and press the snowflake button I see it displayed ok but don't here the compressor kick in. The ambient temp is about 63 degrees F. Is that too cold to test the system. Will holding the recirculate and power button on the controls work in the current outside temp?

Thanks

Default Problems with A/C 2004 PAC

Hey Kevin

I don't know if I have freon in the system. I will take it to my mechanic on Tue and he can test. I just thought I could run a test myself in the meantime but my repair manual says the ambient temp needs to be at least 70 degrees F. I guess I was just looking for some ideas

Thanks
