2004 Pacifica Front blower not working
The other day pulling out of the parking lot my front blower just quit. No settings work. I've switched relays and checked for power at the fuse. I put a test light on the blower motor itself I have power, but whats odd when the blower is connected to the resistor I have power at both the positive side and negative side of the cable. Not sure if that's normal or not. pulled the motor and connected it to a battery and it ran at full speed. Checked the connections at the resistor with the blower disconnected and the positive side has power and the negative doesn't but when blower is connected my test light lights up at both connections. What do you guys think? Thanks! Any help would be appreciated I'm not good at diagnosing electrical systems at all.

Yeah I thought that was originally the problem but I thought if the resistor went out the fan could still run on high since it's suppose to bypass the resistor all together. Does anyone else have any insight into that? I just don't wanna go buying parts to diagnose the problem because the local auto parts store here doesn't let you return opened electrical parts.

The whole thing can burn out and not transmit any current. The way it's wired is that the line coming from the blower motor is hot and the current goes through the various resistors to ground. Try jumping across the black wire on the block to any of the others, then try switching the fan control to see if you get any speed to work. If so, then the block is bad and will need to be replaced.

I have the same problem also wht works I really need the blower to work I checked the fuse there good and I also used a 12v battery on the blower motor and it work and also replaced the resistor module I need help and it cold outside

Fixed
I approached the problem with 2 solutions. I first bought the blower resistor and that didn't fix the problem, so I bought a new blower motor. Both items are located in the same area but the cage that covers the blower motor had a screw in the back that took me 2 days to finally figure out with a long flexible nut driver and a small magnet inside of it. Replaced both and everything works perfect. Am glad it worked because the winter has been horrible. I hope this helps other people

My fan stoppped working completly. Turns out the Blower motor was dead. From what I heard, if the resistor is "bad", the fan speed will blow on high only. So given that info, I went straight for the blower motor and voila.
