Question 2005 Chrysler Pacifica limited edition starting issues

Car won't start I turn the key starter turns but the Bendix doesn't push out change the starter three times each time I change the starter it will start two or three times with the same end result that the Bendix won't push out has new battery and new ground cable took the starters back to advance they tested the new starters and the original and they all passed testing any suggestions?

Check the SMALL gauge wire to the starter solenoid, that is the one that "kicks" the bendix gear. A loose or corroded connector on that solenoid lug will do as described,or bactrack that wire for power when key is turned to starter engage position.

+1 on rebel.

It's a bear to get to our starters, back in the good old days you could have started it with a screwdriver by crossing the solenoid wire post with the main hot post.

a permanent fix (and kinda cool) is to add a button start. Attach a 6 Guage wire to the solenoid, and the main, run that thru the fire wall (there is a rubber plug), and then add a push button. Then turn your key on, press the button, and you should be good to go.

adding a remote start might work too if the brand you use connects to the starter directly.

it can also be a short in the ignition switch itself.

nightmare problem.
