2005 Pacifica Electrical Issues
Thanks for taking the time to read this and offer any help, it is appreciated.
2005 Pacifica 3.8 V6
The issue I am having is while driving I get a door ajar light coming on and the chiming and dome lights accompanying the door ajar light, very annoying to say the least.
I can manage to make it stop by toggling the driver side window switch but eventually it ends up occurring again, started out happening once a week but
now happens about 30 times in a 30 minute drive and now sometimes the door ajar light and odometer stay on with the engine off and key removed.
I have completely turned out the interior lights but still get the chiming alerting me to the door ajar.
Not sure if it is the door lock actuator, the entire module in the driver door, a shorted/broken wire causing the issue or a bad BCM.
What I can tell you is the problem can be solved by removing the 3 connections to the driver door module and the connector to the door lock actuator but I obviously lose all power options.
Other than a multi meter test which I plan on doing this weekend and an IOD fuse removal test could there be anything else I could do to attempt to alleviate this issue ?
Has anyone here come across this issue before or know anyone else who has ?

Nobody has any idea of what may be causing this issue.
Surprised to see there isn't even a form of a guess posted.
I see many threads with 0 replies, is this a forum for Chrysler lovers or
for lovers and maintenance ?
I guess once I fix the problem I'll post what I did to fix it so this place may be
of use to someone, sometime.
