Well, I am unable to upload the photo to this site. i can email it if you are interested. It looks like someone dipped the contacts in chunky mud and put a flame to it. Not just fouled, but chunked up.

i have replace 1,3,5 plugs with the new Champion. These plugs dont look as bad, but they dont look like something that was just put in 2 weeks ago. i will finish the other 3 now.

Also, i noticed the Champions are a bit longer than the Bosch.

thanks again for your time on this.

Am i talking head gaskets now? If so, how difficult is this to accomplish at a home garage?

Should i not turn this engine over anymore. I never did start it up after replacing to Champion Plugs because of the smell of coolant on #4 plug and your subsequent message.

Should it be towed from here and not started? I dont want to do more damage?

thanks.

Being that you are in the business, what kind of dollars am i looking at spending for someone to do this for me? I know the head gasket is $400 alone.

I guess i can limp it to the shop if needed.

It doesnt seem like there is any coolant in the oil. Is this possible?

Can the coolant get on the plug end without getting in the oil?

thank you for your time.
