Misfiring issues
Hello, This is my first time in a forum..... anyway hereit goes I have a 2001 T&Country that has develop misfiring issues. Here's what been done my bother has changed the plugs and wires the coil. Also found that injector one wasn't spraying, changed still having misfire issues. Ran car thourgh a scanner and only thing that comes back is multiple misfire but addition codes. We check other injectors and all seem to be fine. You notice the misfire most when you have the van in drive going between 35 and 55 mph or up a hill.[][]

Check for vacuum leaks. Also hook-up a fuel gauge & tape it to windshield & monitor fuel pressure when problem is happening,at idle & under WOT(wide open throttle-flooring or holding throttle to the floor while accelerating).Let us know what fuel pressure is.Check for any other stored codes.Test EGR valve(hook-up a vacuum pump & apply vacuum to EGR valve while engine is idling & see if it causes engine to stall or run rough when appling vacuum.Apply 15in/mercury while engine is off to EGR valve & see if it holds vacuum). These tests should point you in the direction needed to find the problem.Let us know results of these tests.
