I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica that I want to add a remote start kit. One of the Chrysler dealership is selling these online for a discount but I am seeing two different parts numbers (82208661AB and 82208661AG) and I am not sure what is correct part number for 2006 Pacifica. And I am don't know what is difference between 82208661AB and 82208661AG.

Can some with access to correct information please let me know what is the correct part number for the remote start kit for 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?

I think you need both. Here is an excerpt from an Ebay seller I have looked at a few times. They are a dealership:

When you buy this package you will receive everything you need to install the remote start system in your 2004-2008 Chrysler Pacifica. You will receive:

• Module kit - contains base electronics module for under-dash mounting and complete fuse kit. Part #: 82208859AB
• 2004-2008 Chrysler Pacifica specific installation kit - contains harness, long range antenna, key transponder interface, software cartridge, hood tilt switch, two mini one-button key fobs, installation instructions and hardware. Part #: 82208861AG

Thanks for the reply. I actually came across the same ebay listing few days ago. I understand that I need two different part numbers but let me explain what confuses me.

Part #: 82208859AB. No question about it, you need it and it is shared between many other Chrysler vehicle lines.

Part #: 82208861. This is the problem since I have seen it in two versions i.e AB and AG. So I am not sure if i can use either Part #: 82208861AB or Part #: 82208861AG for 2006 Pacifica?

I clearly misunderstood your original question. As you stated that you were shopping an online Chrysler dealer - most of them urge you to add your VIN number to the order to insure proper applicability. And/or they post a phone number so you can check before ordering. If you do either I think you will be fine working through a dealership. Also I have often run into the situation on OEM parts where the original, say AA gets superceded by AB etc. However from AB to AG is a big jump. FWIW, the Ebay listing we have both seen shows it to be a '04-'08 kit using the AG part number.

Hope it works out for you. I would like to add a starter to mine as well.
