I'm Eduard and I'm new here.
I found a 2007 Chrysler Pacifica Limited that I am looking to buy.
Its from a private seller and the looks and drives great.
Its got sunroof, power tailgate, chrome wheels, and navi, no dvd.

The problem is the instrument cluster is completely dark. No speedometer, no tachometer, no navi. Everything is just dark. The two hazard lights (green arrows) are the only thing lit in the car.
Otherwise everything else works.
Power locks, windows, sunroof, tailgate, inside lights, exterior lights (front and back). They all work.

I wanted to find out if anyone has experience with this problem. The seller says it just needs a new instrument cluster, but I am not sure. A friend who has some car experience said it could be a poorly connected or ungrounded electrical wire somewhere, or it could be the main computer.

Any insight would be helpful.
I need to make my mind up quickly, because the seller is looking to sell the car or trade it in for a new car.

I should also add that the lights on the radio do work.
