Default 2007 Pac touring codes

My MIL light came on today. Is there a way to read codes on my 2007 Pac with the key or some other way? I know my 2000 Jeep I can turn the key on & off 4 times and it gives me the codes on the odometer readout. I tried it with the Pac but no luck. I also pluged in my OBDII reader & it said there were none but the MIL light is on steady. I know it's still under warranty but I just wanted to see what illuminated it. I didn't want to waste time going over to the dealer if it was just a loose gas cap (which I did remove & put back on just in case) or something stupid like that.

My wife got it to the dealer this afternoon. Code "P0732" came up. seems to be a 2nd gear shifting code. The dealer performed TSB 2100807 which is a reverse to drive or drive to reverse clunk or harshness?[sm=wtf.gif] She said the light came on while driving not shifting the tranny?

hi indept, the tsb they did was the easiest repair they could have made.you need to go back and have them check out the trans again.you might have a solinoid pack problems which can be taken care of with out pulling tranny out. if its not that you have internal problems.let me know moe!!

Hey MOE: Is it true that after replacing the TC and a reflash at 7,500 miles it takes up to 4,000 to 6,000 miles to be broke in? The lugging or shuddering as it's called is a little less but is mainly there when the rpm is 1200 to 2000 rpms and in 6th gear and while going up a very small incline. The dearler said there is a new TSB reflash and they are doing that on 3/31. They are even willing to do theTC again if I said ok. I don't see that another R&R of the TC will change much. What is your take on all this. The PAC AWD Touring now has 12,600 miles on it. It is better but still can be noticed on a slightest incline. [sm=feedback.gif] Thanks for your imput!

Moe: The lugging is not so bad as I find it real distracting, but it is there, and I just don't think it's right.
We really like the PAC and the AWD does as good a job as any of the Liberty's we had and most certianly 100 times better than that cheap Jeep Compass! If ever a vehicle should be junked from production then Compass has my vote!
We get better mpg in the PAC than we did with the Compass! The pAC is a well built vehicle, and the quality of fit and finish are equal to more expensive vehicles. Chrysler kept the PAC as a hidden secret, and without advertizement they did not sell enough PAC's. They are still making them to the end of April. We got the Lifetine Powertrain warranty plus the Chrysler Service Contract MAX CARE Lifetime Warranty. Who knows this just might last me the rest of my life! Thanks for the information on the airconditioning filter!

Moe,

Thanks for the comeback. When my wife told me that the light was on I checked all the obvious stuff, Oil level, coolant level, Fan belt still there, etc, all was good.then I took it for a drive and the engine felt, sounded, and responded fine and the tranny shifted ok and went through all 6 gears normally so I'll let it go for now & see if it lights up again.

Are the 2007 Pacs standard OBDII or OBDII-CAN?

Mine is a 2007 AWD touring with about 8000 miles so if the tranny screws up I'm not TOO worried. I bought it last may so I didn't get the lifetime powertrain warranty[:@], but I did buy the added care lifetime warranty so anything after the 3/36 will only cost me $100. Even so, if there are any issues, I intend to have them fix it free well before the 3/36 expires.

I don't think there's an OBDIII yet, just OBDII and OBDII-CAN.
