2007 Pac touring codes

RE: 2007 Pac touring codes
OBD II-CAN system. Uses StarScan or StarMobile. OBD II reader won't link to it.
The 6 speed transmission in the Pacifica hasn't been as refined as the rest of the vehicle. There are multiple technical service bulletins which address shift issues:
21-010-08 Flash: Torque Converter Shudder with Coordinated Change
21-008-07 REV A Flash: 62TE Transmission Harsh Engagement or Clunk when Shifting
Out of Reverse or From Drive, Through Reverse Into Park/**DTC
P0732**
21-010-07 6 Speed Automatic (62 TE/AE) Transmission Fluid Check Cautions
In a perfect world, there would be the perfect fix. What I've found instead is what engineers deem good enough is ok for all, and considering the Pacifica is on the chopping block, there may not be a lot of time expended on shift improvements. With Chrysler's sale to Cerebus there are a lot of changes happening - some great, some crappy. I think the Pac falls in the crap catagory. Not everyone likes it, but it's reminicient of both of my Mercedes and I enjoy test driving them with service customers.

RE: 2007 Pac touring codes
Thanks Douglas. It's a shame the Pac went that way with all the other car manufacturers making crossovers. Doesn't Chrysler use the 4.0L / 6 spd combination in any other vehicles? If so, they will hopefully keep up on performance improvements.

RE: 2007 Pac touring codes
Moe: The shudder at 14,500 appears to be gone! It shifts smooth, and when coming to a stop it seens when it down shifts there is a little bit of a hard shifting in sometimes. The mpg is up as well we really got 28.4 at 60 mph for 180 miles, all on a flat level highway! I can't believe Chrysler did not advertize the PAC hard and heavy, as no other 4,500+ lb SUV gets this with such a comfortable ride.

2004 Chrysler pacifica
Hello
I am a new owner of a 2004 Chrysler pacifica and there are a few odd things that are happening, such as;
#1 every time I turn the car on, the radio is on AM 530,
#2 I have the 6 disc changer but I cannot get it to turn on, and I tried inserting a disc and it would not take it,
#3 when you open the door no lights come on until you insert the key in to the ignition
#4 i cannot operate the power locks unless the key is in the ignition
#5 The key less entry remote is is not working
When i bought the vehicle it did not come with a manual and I am somewhat new to Chrysler. Because I do not have a manual, I was wondering if there is any one out there that can help me. I am not sure if this is the way it is supposed to be or am I doing something wrong.
Thank you in advance
Steve

I recently bought an OBDII- CAN reader from harbor freight for 39 bucks and it links with my '07 Pac just fine.
