Does anyone have a similar issue? My 2007 Pacifica with a 6 speedtrans and 4.0L engine locks up andstalls the engine during a quick slow down or sudden stop. It happened whileexiting the highway off ramp and stopping quickly. I think it is related to thetrans downshifting or locking up the torque convertor. The engine stalls and Ineed to restart and all is fine. Not sure if there is a trans or torqueconvertor problem.
Any help is appreciated.

 

It's most likely the torque converter... My Pacifica downshifts very rough at times (feels like it wants to stall). PAC's are notorious for this, and bad torque converters can often cause a car to stall. My cousins 200 did this on the highway. They suspect it is a bad torque converter.
