Friends:
After watching the video as to how to disable Park and put the electrically-dead vehicle into neutral, I removed the 1.5" X 1.5" square, plastic cover under the steering wheel expecting to find the orange strap that is pulled to put the car into neutral. ***There was no strap,*** and I explored with a flashlight and saw no strap inside under the dash. What's up? Anyone know?

I stumbled across this post. I have the same issue - no strap present on my 2021 Pacifica Hybrid.

Is something missing from our cars or do we have another method to follow?

 

I ran into this issue as well. Car died in the middle of a parking lot. No neutral strap. We were stuck there until the tow truck came.
