Audio Inputs?

Audio Inputs?
Has anyone found a good way to hook up an mp3 player in an '04? From my understanding the '04 doesn't read mp3 cds.
So my options would be:
1. Tape adapter
2. FM transmitter (rear window fm antenna stinks for this)
3. Hook into the front AUX ports on the DVD changer.
Option three isn't practical. The rear system needs to be on for the aux ports to work, therefore sound only comes out the front speakers. Also there is no volume adjust. I can turn it down, just not up. I have to switch to an FM station, turn the volume up then turn back to aux for louder volume. (It that a problem with my pacifica?)
Does anyone know if there are additional inputs on the back on the head or dvd unit?
I have an 04 pacifica with single CD and 6 disc CD/DVD changer with rear screen.
THANKS!

RE: Audio Inputs?
I have a Sansa Mp3 player. You need to do the following:
Put a CD in the system. Then use a standard RCA 3 way jack, that has a single line going to the MP3 device, and put then in the appropriate video, and audio female slots.
One of the 5 slots will light up. Then press the am/fm button.......The Aux feature should come up.
Your MP3 player will be activated.
I have included a picture of the system as an assist.
