Default AWD and New Tires

What is the maximum safe difference in tred depth for an AWD Pac? I've got 4/32nds on the rear and the front has one at 6/32 and one at 8/32. Are the smaller ones better on the rear or front...I saw where slightly overinflating the rear could negate the difference or having the big tire "shaved" will fix any issues. Any help is appriciated.

Thanks!

If I'm figuring correctly you have a max ¼" difference in diameters. I personally would not worry about it... especially when you'll be replacing them soon anyway.
