I have a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica with 20,000 miles on it. Two weeks ago I went to get into my car and upon opening the door the door handle broke. I took it to my local dealer where they proceeded to tell me that there was a bolt that was stripped out and that this was something I must have done and that it would not be covered under warranty. The door has not been damaged, hit, pryed or anything.
I am currently still "working" with the dealer to get this covered under warranty. The replacement piece for the door is $140.00. It is going on two weeks now, the door is still broke.
I started checking all my door handles and it appears that the handle on the drivers side passenger door is also loose and I am afraid that the same thing is going to happen to it.
Has anyone else had any problems with their doors handles?

Good luck with the warranty claim. It sounds like it is a good claim but they will deny it if they can. Make the service manager earn his/her money & don't back down.
