I'm trying to order some parts for my 2004 Pacifica and apparently some of the part numbers depend on the actual manufacture date rather than just "2004". The vehicle information tag that is normally on the door frame was missing when I purchased the vehicle. Is there a way to determine the Mfg date by the VIN? The last six are 645512.

 

Dealer may be able to decode VIN. Look at the tag in the drivers door jamb. Look for MDH xxxxxx. That is Month, Day, Hour of production. Mine is MDH 081708, August 17, 0800 hrs

 

I have been in a very similar situation after buying a used vehicle that was missing the door information tag and it made ordering parts much more confusing because some components depend on the exact build date and not just the model year. With a 2004 Pacifica the VIN by itself usually does not show the exact manufacture date, but it is tied to the factory build record which dealers and detailed build reports can access. That is how I solved it in my own case by checking the full build details using https://carfast.express/en/window_sticker/ram with a ram vin window sticker which showed the original factory information even though the label was gone. For your Pacifica a dealer or a full VIN build report should be able to give you the manufacture date you need to order the correct parts.
