2005 pacifica, (45K miles) check engine light comes on. OBD II code: p0404 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Range/Performance, is this something I can fix myself or do I need to go back to the dealer?

common problem you need egr valve.make sure you replace the sensor thats mounted on theegr valve should can with the valve .it's in a tuff location.not sure how handy you are.let me know moe!!

you can drive it for a while,i think thats covered up to 80,000 emissions warranty.check with your dealership.takes about hour to replace engine can't be too hot though!ouch!!!moe
k like removed 4 bolts,i think you'll need a 7 mm and a 10 mm wrench and socket .if you have a 3.5 engine
