Default Heater blowing cold

I have a 2005 Pacifica with auto dual zone air. The heater works intermitently out of the front vents and almost always only blows cold out of the back vents. I have tried playing with all the settings and nothing seems to fix it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Have you tried turing the auto portion off and controlled it manually?

2007 Pacifica Touring: All last summer the climate control was on recirculate every time I started the car, contrary to what the owner's manual states. On one 80 degree day, it was blowing roasting hot from everywhere. In winter, with the temp set at 67 to 70 my feet usually freeze. Suddenly a blast of hot air comes from the defroster. At other times the interior is freezing. Last Sunday the ambient temp was 34 and the controls were set on 70. I literally froze. It does not matter if it is on auto or manual. Three dealers have stated that the climate control is operating as designed.

Another problem arises if you are holding a hot cup of coffee in your right hand while driving. The IR sensor (or what ever type it is)on the dash picks it up and thinks you are hot and tries to cool the car.. while in auto mode of coarse. Not that this is your problem but it can be a problem.

I have tried it in both manual and auto mode. Now it doesn't blow any heat, front or back. What could be causing this.
Thanks
