cooling fans coming on
06 pacifica 3.5l. my cooling fans are coming on like 3 minutes after driving, way to soon.
that is without the a/c or heat on. coolant level is fine. they do go off, but they are coming on before the car is even warmed up.

Ok...Yes and No....
For instance..If you had a defetcive coolant sensor, The fans would be turned on by default, and a coolant sensor code would be stored...
If a relay were sticking on, a code would be set for Cooling fan control circuit.(At least most of the time)
In theory, it is possible to have "FAN ANOMOLIES" due to a check engine light, or by default, when programming cannot be followed due to an error...
But directly affecting them...No
If the coolant level is acceptable, and the vehicle does not overheat, I would let it be and see how it plays out.

I am experiencing overheating due to my cooling fans not coming on. I change the relay switch on the front bumper but the fans still isn't engaging. I checked the tempature relay to see if the part was getting voltage and also I jump the cooling fans to see if they were getting juice to them and both were. Any suggestions???
