I have read a few different posts in regards to this issue. My biggest question is if the fans won't come on with the a/c on, than is the issue most likely the engine cooling temp sensor which is riveted to the back of the front bumper reinforcement? I repaired the front end of a car that hit a stop sign and merely just plugged the cooling fans assembly back in, but it won't turn on. I will run 12 volts to the fans, and see what I have. I have already checked the fuses. I also attempted to use a stab light to see if I had power to one of the fan motor plugs, but there was nothing. Should there always be power, or only when the temp sensor relay kicks on? The front reinforcement was hit hard in the direct center, so I am now wondering if it didn't knock out the relay. Square box roughly 4x4 maybe,and plugs in. thanks for any advice.
