Default Cruise Control - odd failure

Hello!

I purchased a used '05 Pacifica, love the car. However; I have an issue with the cruise control.

I get up to the speed I want (between 55 and 65 usually) and turn on the cruise control, then press the set button. I remove my foot from the accelerator and the car instantly slows down.

Is this normal? What could the issue be? The lights on the dash say that the cruise control is on and it is set.

Make sure the servo is actually connected to the throttle.

May I request for pictures of this servo? When I try to set the cruise control on, the "Cruise" light on the panel will light up for a second then it will turn off.... Thanks in advance.

Found the solution on mine. The cruise control connector on the front driver side seemed to fell off... just connected it and everything is OK again.
