Electrical connector radiator fan

Default Electrical connector radiator fan

How do you remove the electrical connector from the radiator fan. Have the red keeper pulled down but am reluctant to pull too hard on it. Is this all one has to do?

Push the lock to release it, Then press the tab to disengage the connector. It may take some wiggling and prodding, but it will come out.

Default thanks got it loose new problem

I wanted to disconnect the drivers sidebefore it came apart while waiting for a new one to arrive. However, pass side would not run by itself and when I re-connected the driversside neither will come on. Is there something that reset or needs to be?

what is the red tab because i cannot figure out how to disengage the clips
