Question Electrical short/bad ground?

I have a 2004 pacifica. About 6 months ago I was cleaning the headlights with a drill buffer. Since then both my turn signal and running light on front drives side do not work. The indicator flashes rapid and the rear blinker still works. Ive replaced bulbs and also headlight sockets and wires just for the headlight. Ive used a wire light tester on the wires and sockets and there is power. The second i insert the bulbs they stop. It snowed for the first time last night and both lights started working. Got warmer out this morning and snows melting and they both stopped. Assuming its a short but im out of ideas on what would addect both the running light and blinker. I need HELP!!
