Default Frosted Headlamp

Am I the only one that has a headlamp that is frosted looking INSIDE rather than outside ? I looked at a 3M kit to polish and treat it but the parts guy thought it was strange that it was not on the outside. Or, can I buy just a new clear cover instead of the whole asembly ? Thanks. *BW*

gotta get a whole assembly. I never heard of the inside getting fogged, might be a leak and pretty soon you need to get a whole one anyways.
is it xenon or regular?

Default Frosted Headlamp

It is a regular lamp and the bulb has been replaced before with a Sylvania H7 bulb. Strange as it is but the other side has had the whole assy. replaced by a HID assy. by a body shop by mistake because of a minor accident. It came from the factory with std. lights. Yes, there is a little different color of them too ! Maybe I'll look for a used lens thing for the drivers side. Thanks. *BW*

When we first got our 04, after a few months I noticed on the insides of the HID lights, they had a milky cloudy look. Not a lot but noticeable. Dealer replaced both assemblies under warranty.
