The headlamps on my 2002 T&C are not nearly bright enough. Has anyone had any experience with aftermarket replacement bulbs? I found the 9000 series bulbs on piaa.com. Has anyone tried these? Thanks.

 

The greatest lighting gain that I have experienced is from a combination of a "heavyduty wiring harness" and bulbs. I bought my first harness from suvlights.com a couple of years ago and have used and recommended them in may other cars. I made my first one myself, but after the sost and time it took to get the relays, wire, and heavy duty bulb connectors, it was well worth paying for a pre-made one. You can get the instructions and reasoning for making or using one at: http://www.danielsternlighting.com/t...ys/relays.html As far as bulbs, from trying out several of the high priced PIAA or similar 55watt = 100watt output bulbs; save your money for the heavy duty relay. I have used the Sylvania Silverstar bulbs with great results, but have recently switched to the Sylvania Cool Blue. The Cool Blue seem to be at least as bright as the Silverstars but for half the price. Just remember that the darker the blue tint on the bulb, the less output it will actually put out in front of you. The really blue bulbs look "brighter" when you are looking straight at the headlight, but are almost useless when you are behind the wheel, and gets even worse when the road is a dark black or in rain or fog.
