Ho do I reset the "Perform Service" indicator on a 2005 Chrysler Pacifica?
I just purchased 2005 Chrysler Pacifica Touring, but the Perform Service indicator light came on in the EVIC window. I would like to know how I can reset this indicator. I live oversea so I do as much maintanance as I can (i.e. oil change, etc.). Unlike the newer version of the EVIC, I do not have the buttons that would allow me to acces the reset options. Is there a way I can reset this indicator without taking it to the dealers?[/align]

I thought you had to use the 'menu' button until you got to reset service interval and then use the step button. You shouldn't have to take it to the dealer. Do you have the owners manual, it should tell you.

If your Pac does not have the EVIC [ie it is a lower base model with a 3.8L],then you need to remove and reinstall a fuse. In the fuse block under the hood you will see a fuse labeled instrument panel or instrument cluster. Remove this fuse for about 10 sec. This will remove the "perform service" indicator. The fuse #should be 29.
