Installed Aftermarket Radio **with** Stock Amp
I just installed my DVD head unit yesterday,in my '04 PAC,with a new wiring harness that allows you to use the factory amp. Everything works just fine. Navigation voice, memory seats/mirrors all function as they did. I haven't put my dash back together yet, but I will take pics once it's cleaned up.
The wiring harness is from Metra (CHTO-02) Works for 2004-2006 Pacificas.

Hello there ... I was wondering what aftermarket unit you went with? I want to add an aftermarket nav unit and was wondering what size I can use ... max. The head unit I'm looking to install is a Panasonic Strada CN-NVD905U and any help would be great.
Love to see your pics as well if you have them.

Looks sweet! Are those DVD screens the ones that come pre installed into the headrests? Do you need to use wireless headphones or does the sound come through the stereo?

Yea those are custom headrest. I bought them from crutchfield, and they're made by visual logic. They're only made in the custom grey leather. I do have headphones, but haven't hooked them up. I have an fm modulator, that allows the headsets to work...I think that's what it's called. so for now it works through the stereo. I have no complaints about the set up, and I'm very happy.
Just a note...stock speakers don't sound as great after you switch to an aftermarket unit. It sounds ok, and I think I'm going to counter it with an infinity basslink sub.
