Default Lights on doors staying on. Engine off.

Hello all.

I noticed tonight that when the engine is turned off that the lights on the door stay on. Its the window switch, and door lock buttons to be exact. I tried rolling the windows up / down and although tghe windows didnt move i could hear clicking, almost like the sound you hear when the battery is dead.

With that said i recently posted about my battery going dead only after 4 mos. Im now really begining to wonder if that has something to do with it. Thos switch lights should only be on when the lights are on or atleast only when the car is on.

Any help much appreciated.

Thanks

Well is it a new car with 4 month old battery or a used car that you have had for 4 months? Have you checked the battery voltage? Maybe you can take it and have it load tested. either way, if it is new, the batteries are no good, if it is used, just change out the battery now for peace of mind. Strange things start to happen when the batteries go in these cars, They all sort of modules (computer type) in them.
