Default P0132 after replacing O2 Sensor

2005 Pacifica 3.5 L

Had a P0420 for quite a while car was driving fine, not anxious to spend the $$$$ so had been ignoring, knowing it was emissions related and we would have clear symptoms if there was some sort of clog. Husband decided out of the blue to replace the upstream O2 Sensor to see if that might fix the cat code. So he went to autozone and got the Bosch. (sorry) Installs the sensor and alternates between running fine and running like crap, and pops a P0132. That is high volt on that sensor. Then, CEL clears self, but car still intermittently runs like crap. This would make sense, I think, if voltage is high and sensor thinks too rich and causes fuel cutback. My exact symptoms were that the car would sort of stall (but not die) and gas pedal would be unresponsive. It may idle roughly. then out of the blue it would come back to life. Husband runs off to the dealer to get OEM part. swaps out. Now, car running fine (for the 30 or so miles it's been driven), but once again I popped that P0132. Thoughts on why I might have that code after 2 replacements and no other changes?

"So he went to autozone and got the Bosch"

This is the prob put the original one back in or get a denso or NTK bosh usually does not work in Chrysler.

your 420 is a new converter needed not o2 sensors.

If you had read on, you would have seen that indeed we did get rid of the Bosch and put in an OEM part from the dealer. Now, car runs fine with decent sensor, but P0132 still came back after resetting the CEL.

The question is why would this be.
