Default Popping/clunking noise under braking

I've been hearing a popping/clunking noise coming from the front end under hard braking or braking on a downill slope on my '04 Pac. It has 101k miles. The brakes feel fine and I don't feel any vibrations coming from the brake pedal or steering wheel with the noise. Thoughts?? Thanks!

Sounds like it's your anti-lock feature working, to me...

Check motor mounts, torque on hub nuts and controller arms.
