can't even get the hoses off! there's no screw and nothing to grab/pinch off to loosen the steel hose clamp... on top of that i cannot see anything to even get the cooler off.....
i bought a aftermarket one and it doesn't even look the same in size... the ****.

Those OEM hose clamps remind me of the inner tie rod clamps - they don't loosen. They are crimped during assembly and are not reuseable and get destroyed during removal. Anyway, stick a large screwdriver into the crimped opening and pry it back and forth to widen and loosen it. If it is like the inner tie rod boot clamp it will "unsnap" and come off. Use a conventional hose clamp to replace it. Good luck.

Make it easier on yourself by cleaning under there with some engine cleaner and a hose before you start. Let it dry so it's not dripping on your face. Before you pull anything apart, hold the replacement part up there to make sure it will fit. If it won't fit, take it back and see if there's another one closer.

A wire cutter might make removal of the clamps easier.

Replaced the cooler and it's not as easy as people say... anyways i am still getting a leak of a light brownish clear liquid on the ground and it is only dripping slowly off the middle of the frame... now i know my struts are going bad and leaking to but could this be what it is? would they leak that much? checked fluids and their good.. the fluid has no smell by the way
also it will only accumulate fluid on the middle frame when i drive then park.. if left park and i clean it up nothing drips til i go out driving again
