Unhappy rear squeek in 04 pacifica driving me bonker's

first of all I would like to say hi to everyone and find this forum very informative, I have a 2004 pacifica and have a very loud squeak coming from rear drivers side it squeeks when pushing side to side or up and down,any suggestions,befor I get taken to the cleaners at the garage

One by one, spray a little soapy water on all the joints and connections in the rear suspension, checking for the squeek after spraying each one. With some luck, you might be able to localize it. It could also be internal to the shock absorber or even a muffler/tailpipe rubbing on something.

brought it to midas and they told me it was the rear driver side control arm bushing closet to wheel, do they sell that bushing or do I have to buy control arm

Its a 1 piece part, so the entire thing need replacing

Not really. Just take your time and you should be fine. Its like a puzzle.

my rear control arm came in today and i'm going to try to tackle this project myself. does anyone have a specific procedure they can share with me to replace this part

If you're unsure of yourself, you can find a shop manual here:

2004 Chrysler Pacifica Service Manual- CD ROM

Otherwise, take your time and look over the job. Realize that there may be loads on the spring even with the car raised up, so make sure things are well controlled before unbolting anything that might be loaded.
