Default I'm no longer in the game!

Hi, Dave. Sorry to hear you are having continued STSS issues, but you know you are not alone.

Regarding your Sears inquiry, yes, I'm certain they will have to program all four sensors, because once a wheel gets more than 30' from the car they no longer communicate with it. Chances are the wheel balancers could be more than 30' away from the rack where your car will be serviced.

With that said, my recollection is that late model Pacs. retrain sensors on their own after driving a few miles above 20 mph (I think). I seriously doubt that Sears will be able to clear the STSS message, as I believe it resides in a module only dealers can access.

Lastly, as I said, I'm no longer in the game. After 135,000 miles and a couple of back-to-back problems with my Pac. , I traded it in on a new Mazda CX-9. I always loved the Pac., but the Mazda is simply amazing.

Best of luck to you in sorting out your '08 issues.
