Default Strange metal hanging down from front end

Hi all, I just noticed that there is a strange sheet of metal hanging down underneath the front end of my Pacifica. It's centered underneath, about 1 foot behind the from wheels. Does anyone know what this could be?

I can try to get some pictures if that helps, but it's pretty dark out right now.

Is this something I should be concerned about, or is it just a splashguard or heat shield?

I'm thinking heat shield. The small spot welds corrode and they come loose. Common Honda problem. On those I have used a large hose clamp to encircle the heat shield and pull it tight against theCAT. Try Lowes/Home D plumbing section for the clamp.

The exhaust system heat shields are attached to the under body of the vehicle.
