It's pouring rain, so I don't want to deal with this until morning...

My wife just came home with our 2007 Pacifica... under the driver's side, there is a soda can-size canister hanging down; it is attached to what appears to be an 1/2" tube...
It's about 1/2" from the ground...
Any idea what it is?

Sounds like the filter (round thingy) from the EVAP canister (big square thingy). Something may have hit it. Go get some 12" zip ties and put it back up.
