timing belt issue crankshaft mark
Hi,
I am new here, and new to the 04' Pacifica. We bought this car from my neice, and within 3 months it blew a head gasket...UgH!! Well, I dug right in, and replaced head gaskets, resurfaced heads etc...new water pump timing belt etc...Now I am putting the new timing belt on, and no matter how many times I try to realign, rotate crank 2 times, re align again, rotate ...repeat, I cannot get the right side (rear) crankshaft mark to line up just right...I can get it 1/2 tooth off. Is this OK???? i am attaching pics. I am hoping the computer can adjust / retard/advance timing a little to make up for this...or will belt stretch and it'll line up eventually...Any help would be greatly appreciated.
sorry I am not allowed to add pics. adding url of mark that is off.
crank is perfect and left side(front is perfect too)
thanks!!!
