Default TPMS message

I recently had the TPMS valve crack and leave us with a flat tire. I purchased a new TPMS at Advance and Wal Mart installed. The new TPMS is reading the tire pressure accurately yet the dash still reads "Service Tire System Soon". It has been driven for over 100 miles and will not reset. I tried taking the battery terminal off to clear and yet it still appears. Any answers to how to get this alert message to reset?

Thanks!

The part you purchased at Advance may not be compatible with your vehicle's system. I would contact Advance first and then the manufacturer of the part to see if they are aware of compatibility issues. It's also possible that it was damaged at WalMart when they installed it.
