Default Beep on start up

Hello,

I was just wondering if it is normal for a single beep to sound just after the car is started, no warning lights or anything, just had the car put through a diagnostic reading and no faults come up thank god!!!!!!!! But still this beep???

Any ideas??

Thanks

Being a new boy what's the tpms system? Would this not have shown on the diagnostic test? I take it should not just beep then!! Lol

Its your tire pressure monitoring system and im not sure of given years but on my 07 T&C, it beeps per tire that is not within the range of proper air press. I thinks its 3 lbs too. I m not 100% on this but i dont think this would show up on a code search, if it would, my suggestion is wrong and i would also be educated if someone else chimes in with more info on the matter.

- its normal to beep after its done its own diagnostic checks every time you put the key in, and turn the ignition on
- whether it beeps after its started or not depends on how quickly an individual starts the car after turning on the ignition
- try turning the ignition on and .. .. waiting 60 seconds or so for it to do its checks and beep - what happens now ?

Hi, i have tested this and the beep does not come until the engine has started, after about 10 seconds when started, but as i say no warning lights or anything? I just dont like not knowing why its beeping, it could be completely normal but i need to know! lol,

Also my indicator does not always turn off, do i need a new stick?

thanks+

Mine beeped at me the other day, but I also have a service reminder in the overhead console. Or may have been fuel warning.

You have no errors codes, then dont worry about it :-)
