Transmission problem solved :>)
For too long our '04 Pac has had a problem with starting out in first gear with a quick jerk or two to get moving and if you let up for a short time it would go on and seem ok. Yes we have been thru many posts about wiring, rusty ground terminals and other ideas. Did take a chance and replaced the Alt with a factory Denso unit. Didn't help. Many codes for trans error, torque convertor out of range, and others have been scanned before. Most places wanted to remove the trans and look into it. Did find a reputable shop that test drove it with a scanner for a long time. Hard to find the problem. Left the car with him for further testing. He found out that the pressure was dropping, but why ? He found that the trans computer was causing it. Replaced it and all is well now ! ! Codes only direct you to the problem area. Hope this may help someone else along the way. Thanks. *BW*
