Uconnect screen black on 2017 Pacifica

Uconnect screen black on 2017 Pacifica
Hi all,
Ran into a problem where the uconnect screen is completely black. Tried the reset and that didn’t work, tried pulling fuse 76 and that also didn’t work. Took it to a dealer and they said I need an entire new unit and it’s $1100. Am I missing something? This seems like a known issue and $1100 to fix it seems crazy. Any other thoughts? Thanks!
