Default Water in Light assembly

I have water on the inside on my RH light assembly. No cracks, submersion, in fact I don't really drive that much lately. Not signs of water intrusion thru the back since I have after market HID lights but the rubber boot fits correctly. Not much rain while driving to maybe force water in from some point.

I removed it from the car, remove the bulbs, added some water to see if anything came out. Nothing. Added a bit of detergent to remove any dirt that may have crept in and now drying with a small fan to move air thru to dry it.

Any ideas?

Could it be condensation that has formed this water? If the headlight housing isn't sealed properly the smallest hole can allow moisture in and create a puddle over time. The way you're talking it sounds like more water than this but I would check for any small holes and fill them with silicon. Good luck!

It was a puddle and so not just condensation. I poured out about a 1/4 cup. I did fill, not completely, with water to see if anything leaked where the lens is attached to the body. No drips. I have dried and re-installing it. Thankfully it's very easy to remove if it happens again. I don't want to fry my Pilot HID system due to moisture.

How do you remove the light? I have the same problem, but can't remove the light completely. It's an 03, do I have to remove the bumper?

If it's a Pacifica it's a 2004 or later. Once you remove the screws (2) you have to finagle it a bit to remove it.
