Hi, I have an 05 GT Turbo convertible high output, 74k miles. Ive had a few minor “common” pt cruiser issues I’ve already addressed but this is an odd one.
occasionally the drivers door power lock switch seemed to “not click” anymore but both doors would still lock and unlock without issue. Now Both doors the power door locks will not do anything, they are Stuck in locked position. (* I had to “persuade “ the door actuator arm to luckily open the door. It’s prevented from closing with a screwdriver stuck in door jam) There is a clicking (relay??) coming from under dash board. I replaced the driver door switch and it made no difference. Without tearing dashboard apart, any suggestions? I checked the #3 fuse in fuse panel, it’s good. I have searched everywhere and only found similar issues, not this one. I’m a very experienced with lots of auto repairs but I have multiple sclerosis and and starting to have cognitive issues, it’s not as easy as it used to be.

anyway, since it’s happening to BOTH doors, would it be a relay or??
*Everything else ( accessories) seem to work properly.
