2007 PT cruiser starting issue
Had a transmission put in and my car is having issues starting. At first it took a few tries but started now just clicking. I was told I could use a bypass method but I dont know what wire to use because of voltage.. I read you can run from solenoid + to negative battery but it's not a permanent fix. My daughter had a heart monitor put on today and she is pregnant so I am looking for something to start it in case we need to go. Thank you
well first who put the transmission in? how long after this did the hard starting issue happen? if it was just a short time ago why not take it back tot he people how put the trans in and see what they messed up.
I had 2 done actually but the first one was bad so i had to have it towed to a place I use to work at but its over an hour away. So after spending all that money I truly cant afford another tow that far. I know my way around cars a little but this one is stumping me. I tightened nut on starter with green wire and car fired up just a bit ago. Then I went to start it again and same thing. Nothing but clicking check engine light blinks 10 times. I've read so much and it wont throw a code either.
I just read about bypassing but now I am not sure that's the problem
