I bought a 2004 model two and a bit years ago for £2000. I love the cars, but so far I've spent about £1000 on repairs. I've just broken down again and repairs this time could be another £1000. Dilemma time now!

If you're going to drive an old car, and ten years old is an old car, your best bet is to get a good set of tools and learn how to use them. If you are going to be dependent on paying somebody else to keep an old car running, get something newer.
